A project approaches fruition.

And no one is excited as me! The latest book was truly a labor of love and I'm a little sad that it's done. It is in the hands of the publisher (and has been since December 19) and awaiting its turn at bat. The word is that you good folks may even see it on store shelves as early as June, 2009, though it's title may be different.

From The Back Cover:

Take a look into Virginia’s paranormal past through the haunted homes of its most famous residents. Journey to some of the earliest settlements of the New World at the Adam Thoroughgood House and Bacon’s Castle and discover why the spirits of their founders refuse to leave. Explore the homes of founding fathers at Berkeley and Red Hill to learn about one mysterious trait they both share - the ghosts of children. Find out why the tales of murder, suicide, hidden fortune, and heartbreak at sixteen other historic houses in the Old Dominion are cause for spirits to linger.

* Features famous (and not so famous) Virginia landmarks in Brookneal, Charles City, Chesterfield, Fredericksburg, Gloucester, Hanover, Hopewell, Mecklenburg, Middletown, Newport News, Richmond, Surry, and Virginia Beach.

* Includes more than 20 previously unpublished ghostly encounters and over 80 photographs!

* Spotlights destinations such as Red Hill (home of Patrick Henry) and Endview Plantation, which have never before been included in a collection of paranormal tales.

Ohhh I am excited...Is there a way I can reserve an advance copy or do I have to wait until it hits the stores?

Patty,

About eight weeks before the "official" release date you'll be able to reserve a copy at Amazon.com or B&N.com. Sadly, because of the way the publishing industry works, I won't even know the release date until THE VERY LAST MOMENT!

I'll be sure to post updates here as soon as I find out more details.
