Ever since my first Shadow Person sighting in 2002, I've been very interested in learning more about the phenomena. These bizarre encounters span the globe and have so many similarities that, as far as paranormal experiences go, I feel they fall into a category all their own. Because of my personal connection to the phenomena, I have decided to combine my nine-years of study with the responses of others who have had these close encounters in the form of a research paper for the Rhine Institute. This is where I hope you can help.

I don't know if my experiences qualify for your project. I've never seen a "Shadow Person" as a whole, complete shadow but I have seen shadows move while both me and the ambient light have been stationary. I've also felt a presence when no-one else has been around me. I work night stock at a local grocery store and I'm not the only person who's seen this phenomenon in this store.

I work as a security officer at a corporate buisness complex. The property used to be farm in the 1800's, and then a chemical facility in the 80's. There are several underground parking garages that i patrol on a regular basis. Tonight when i was sitting in my car in one of the garages I noticed a dark figure moving very quickly back and forth behind my car. It was black or brown and it streaked past my car each time coming from the opposite way in which it had started. I was alone in the garage and it was 10:00 at night. I felt pretty uneasy and amazed at how fast the shadow was it was absolutley itteligent.
it was around 5:50a and I was starting my morning run. I saw two cats chasing each other across the lawn of the nursing home across the street. They were directly in front of me. They reacted to the terrain on a physical level. And they acknowledged each other via the act of chasing. I saw them for a good 10 seconds. They moved bizarrely fast - the same way birds dart through the branches of a bush. And they were large - i imagine the size of a tiger. Their features were strained, like they were exerting energy from muscle mechanics and air resistance. The feeling I had when I saw them was that they were playing.
I have also seen movement in my home...over the last 3 months it has intensified.A psychic/medium lived in my home in the 70s..she helped the police with a few investigations and was popular around Springfield Illinois, where i live. My home was a carriage house which belonged to the main house that my landlord lives in...it has also been an auto repair garage and in the 1940s it was turned into a house...A LOT OF VERY VERY STRANGE THINGS GO ON HERE.PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME..EITHER BY EMAIL OR ON FACEBOOK...AMY D. THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE AS WELL. ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I WENT TO A PARANORMAL CONVENTION. I MET GREG NEWKIRK..FROM ROADTRIPPERS..A TRAVELING OCCULT MUSEUM.I WAS ABLE TO HOLD A PIECE OF THE DEFAO HOME...BETTER KNOWN AS THE AMITYVILLE HORROR HOUSE.I WAS THE 2ND PERSON TO EVER TOUCH IT..I KNOW THIS WAS A MISTAKE AND I DO KNOW BETTER, HOW EVER, I HAD TO..SOME SORT OF DRAW....I SIGNED A CONTRACT BEFOREHAND.
